Re: Aspartame Case History
I am one week into detoxing from aspartame and caffeine and cutting back on sugar. I have a strange feeling in my head which is making me feel sluggish as well as some tingling/weakness in my arms and legs. I've also had a lot of heartburn. I feel tired most of the time. Is this all normal for what I am doing? Would the aspartame detox be any easier if I gradually cut back quantity over an extended period? I know the half-life is 60 days, but if there was less in your system when you completely stopped would the detox symptoms be negligible? It is really affecting my productivity.

Re: Aspartame Case History
I am a 42 year old husband and father. I have a bit of a sweet tooth but not extreme, I do however in carbonated drinks not sugar free or diet mind you because I've never beleived in the hipe, good thing. I do however love my fruits and veggies. I was diagnosed more than 15 years ago with "Gout". I suffer from severe joint pain and inflamation, headaches dizziness at times, etc. etc., which ultimately now restricts me from enjoying all the healthy foods I love. Is it possible to mistake Gout from Aspartame Poisoning and if so how can I safely detox myself without possible creating an attack? Should I ask my doctor for a specific blood test? If someone could please help I can't afford to lose time at work anymore, I can't always hug my children or wife and the painful attacks are enough to test my sanity at times.

Re: Aspartame Case History
Always remove all the diet chemicals, and other nasty chemicals, from your diet when health symptoms like this are present. Then I suggest checking your body pH and adjust that through your diet. Then read the book Eat 4 Your Type and focus on designing a diet for your blood and body type.
You should get a hair analysis done to see if you have metals inside of you, and to see what your nutrient levels are like. Then, I can specifically design a detox program to narrow this down.
Digestion and inefficient assimilation of nutrients are typically behind gout, so look to improve this. Toxins are typically the root cause of stiff muscles and bone pain. Those toxins have deposited somewhere, and typically where your body pain is located, that's where the toxins are deposited.
This should get you started on a new wellness approach.
You sound like an awesome dad and husband.
