Generally, good food match for wine can bring physical benefits. Do you know that wine and cheese is helpful in weight loss? This match makes fat in our bodies burn up gradually. Just drink a cup of wine before night sleep with 50g cheese. It is welcomed by many fitness lovers except those who dislike cheese and tend to be allergic to wine.
Another match is onions and wine. It can cure some diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, knee pain and heart attacks. Just wash 1 or 2 onions, peel off the skin, cut them into pieces and drain them for reservation; immerse sliced onions in 400-500ml red wine kept in a glass container for several days. Then you can drink the onion wine a little each time.

Getting all of the vitamins and nutrients you need. not eating too much or too less of something. starving yourself or binging is the farthest from a balanced meal. if you follow the food pyramid you are going to be pretty close to a balanced meal. but getting a good portion of each food group is what a balanced meal is, because you are balancing how much you each in each group. liek if you ate only protein and fat like when you go on the atkins diet, it is not balanced because you are not taking in enough carbs but are taking in too much fat. balanced meal also means not eating too much sweets and sodium, or whatever is bad for the body.
A balanced meal is one which contains a healthy variety of foods, giving you a number of different nutrients, including carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals, possibly fiber, possibly omega-3 fatty acids.

I didn't think to mix onion dishes with wine to get more of a healthy effect. Nice suggestion.

Michaein, your post about a balanced diet is very good. Other cultures have a mixed variety of foods at each meal, and I think this offers the body a "cafeteria" of good nutrients at every sitting. This is the better way to feed your body at each meal.

And, yes, moderation is the key to everything in life - everything!
