Re: Q & A with Dr. Hull - November 2008
Hi I was wondering if you could tell me what you know on treatment for epilepsy. My 16 month old daughter has many medical problems, but the most severe right now is her daily seizure activity. Her neurologist prescribed meds and of course, I gave her one dose and she walked around like a zombie for two days (no smiles or anything). They say they have many different ones with different side effects, but I am not willing to try ANY of them and would greatly appreciate an alternate idea as I have been researching some myself but am kinda stuck. I will not give her the prescription meds for it and it is pertinant that I find a homeopathic alternative or any ideas ....thankyou so much for any experiences you may have on this matter...xoxoxoxo

Maybe get a hair analysis done on her. Maybe she's deficient in important nutrients. Before you put her into an induced zombie state to treat her seizures, it might be a good investment to see what's going on inside her body. It sounds like you're looking into alternative methods for treating your daughter. I don't blame you. It must be scary for you though. Good luck.

Yes, boschida is correct - explore, explore, explore. Learning all you can will surface answers, solutions, and many of them to choose from. Even acupuncture can help. But, I must ask what food chemicals is she on or has she been exposed to, even during pregnancy? Any OTC meds, prescribed meds, aspartame and any food chemicals, molds or environmental exposures during pregnancy or shortly after?? See where I am going with this?
Try to determine a root cause for her health symptoms occurring at such an early age. Something has created this reaction - it doesn't pop out of nowhere.
Can you be a health detective and determine what may be at the root of this? Let us know what you discover, and if we can do hair test on her, that will tell us a lot of great info.
