Thank you for your comments. There is a huge collection of evidence of mental difficulties associated with serotonin antagonists. Aspertame contains phenylalanine which is likely the culpret. See articles on mental effects of para-chlorphenylalanine which I did reasearch on back in 1970 in rats.
Aspertame was blocked by the FDA until former Searle President Donald Rumsfeld went to work for Ronald Regan. Need I say more?

I know! The politics of greed....how can anyone comment enough on such injustice? We should be ashamed of how far down on the research totem pole Americans have fallen - and this is not the fault of the researchers who know what they can do to help. This issue offers the opportunity for some really great science to make some really great strides, but we stifle our brilliant researchers in America, and we have done such damage by silencing the really good science that is out there!
