For the same reason cigarettes are still on the market - money, money, and more money. I was naive at first, too, and didn't want to believe this, but our freedoms are being grossly abused by the upper crust of society and politics, manipulating us all. Money, money and money.
And if you can't accept this, then things will never change for the better Think about this the next time you are filling up your gas tank.
